FREE! it's crazy I know but every Saturday between now and April 15th, THRHA's Financial Literacy Program is offering families free basic tax processing services for 2012 tax season for individuals and families. There are some conditions that may not apply if if you're filing a simple tax return with basic dedictions, you could save as little as $65 on paying for a professional service to do your taxes.

Vacancies at THRHA and what they mean to you.

During the fall of 2012, THRHA shifted the way we handled vacancies from the cumbersome waiting list process to a new method of apply per vacancy. This means that as each new vacancy comes available, you can apply for that specific vacancy. The benefits for this are a faster application process and a shorter determination and evaluation timeframe, which translates to moving families into our homes much faster than ever before.

Energy Assistance Available!

Hi everyone, the 2012/2013 HAS or Energy Assistance Program is in full swing. Contact us and fill out the application today to see if your eligible for assistance with your heating, electricity or other expenses related to your home. LIHEAP or Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program along with CITGO make up the huge program which THRHA uses to help all qualifying Southeast Alaskans.

Due to the popularity of this program, the application process is very intestive for us at THRHA since we literally have thousands of Southeast Alaskans applying for heating assistance. As a result, we encourage you to read the application carefully, review the checklist and make sure you provide all information and attachments that we require so we can assist you as fast as possible.
