Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority's Mortgage Loan Department services a $13 Million loan portfolio with over 150 loans to clients all over the Southeast Alaska area. The Mortgage Loan Department was recently awarded a half million dollar HOP (Housing Opportunity Program) grant which provides down payment assistance to all low-income families, Alaska Native, American Indian and non-Native. Our department is comprised of a skilled and dedicated team of four members each working integrally to provide and manage seamlessly, an incredible array of services though a variety of housing programs. Our Manager Ricardo Worl is in charge of insuring that the Mortgage Loan department meets the Federal and Investor regulatory guidelines. He is responsible for investor audits, developing new loan programs, overseeing funding implementation and the development of NAHASDA loan program policies on behalf of our tribal partners. Our Loan Officer Jocelyn Ramirez provides initial assistance to prospective loan applicants, reviews completed applications for eligibility, affordability and financial analysis for applicants based on other loan program directives that are offered. Addtionally, Jocelyn provides initial assistance to prospective loan applicants, reviews completed applications for eligibility, affordability and financial analysis for applicants based on AHFC loan program directivesOur Loan Processor Mary Yurko, handles completed loan applications and researches income verification, credit reports, rent verification and other critical information essential to loan decisions. Our Loan Servicing Specialist Eleanor Smith provides customer service to successful loan applicants that become our clients. She assists in answering loan client questions regarding their account information as well as manage monthly billing, insurance and property tax payments.
The Mortgage Loan department serves as the conduit between Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority's programs and the communities we support.
