Offering a variety of program services to Tribal Governments...

Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority performs the Grant Management for NAHASDA. Working with each of its 12 tribal partners (see above), THRHA staff develops each tribe's Annual Indian Housing Plan, applies for the program funding, administers the NAHASDA program, ensures program compliancy and submits the Annual Performance Reports for NAHASDA Funding.

We also develop and implement Housing Planning whereby THRHA staff works closely with the Tribal Council Staff to determine and prioritize the various housing needs of tribal members, anticipate future housing needs and identify additional leveraging sources if necessary to complete future projects.

This leads to Program Developments which lets us take things further with our Tribal Partners. We develop each program based on each tribe's needs and goals. THRHA staff develops the housing programs and services uniquely tailored for it's members.

Where do we go next?

While our Tribal Partners aren't our only clients we serve in Southeast Alaska, they represent an important percentage of our clients as a whole. Many of our programs and funding revolve around our Tribal Partners and the services we can offer. Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority will continue to develop new relationships and strengthen the existing relationships we have presently not just with our Tribal Partners, but with everyone. We want to eliminate any boundaries we have when it comes to providing affordable housing solutions to the people of Southeast Alaska.
